Jefferies - James K. - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

James K. Jefferies, 88, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ross Sharp, northeast of the county line last Saturday morning. He was born February 6, 1848, the son of Harvey and Malinda King Jefferies. He was married twice, 1st to Mary Moody, who died 29 years ago, and later to Mary Frances Walls, who died about 12 years ago. One son, Harvey, died 32 years ago. He is survived by seven children; Walter of this place, Vince of Whitesville; Mrs. Pearl Call of near Ladoga, Mrs. Ethel Miller of New Maysville, Mrs. May Sharp who with her husband lived on the farm where Mr. Jefferies died, and Mrs. Mabel Day and Paul Jefferies both of Ft. Wayne. One brother; Robert, of Crawfordsville, two sisters; Mrs. Kate Higgins of Danville and Mrs. Nancy Stewart of this place.
